The Memorial Concert Band of Colonie is always looking for accomplished musicians to join us. No audition is required, but we require submission of a “musical resume” describing your training, performance background, primary instrument, and additional instruments you play. An invitation to play with us is based on your background, the needs/openings in your instrumental section, and the approval of the Conductor.
High school musician who perform at NYSSMA level 4-6 may apply for membership with recommendation of their current band director or private teacher.

Our Personnel Manager will contact you shortly after submission. In all cases, new members will serve as a probationary member for their initial two rehearsals to verify playing ability and ensemble compatibility. Thank you!
